In Akure, Ondo State capital, two men have reportedly died within a span of two weeks following secret relationships with married women.
In one case, a driver, whose name is being kept confidential, is said to have died after visiting a woman at her home.
Eyewitnesses recount that he suddenly flipped multiple times before collapsing and passing away immediately.
Similarly, a well-known shopkeeper in Akure also died under unusual circumstances, Sunshine Truth reports.
An anonymous witness described the incident, and the sudden death has led to speculation about supernatural forces, particularly the Yoruba belief in Magun—a mystical curse believed to strike those who engage in infidelity.
The events have stirred shock and concern across the community, with many wondering if unseen powers are involved.
