Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko has remembered his late wife, Henrietta Kosoko, on the 10th anniversary of her passing.
The actor took to Instagram to honour her memory, sharing a photo of the late actress and reflecting on the impact she had on his life and their family.
In his tribute, Kosoko described Henrietta as a source of love, strength and support, noting that she played an important role in the lives of their children.
He expressed pride in how their children have grown and said he believes she is watching over them with joy.
“Today marks 10 years since my beloved wife, Henrietta Emumejiapkor Kosoko, returned to her Creators. She was love, grace, and strength to our children and me. Her children are doing great, and I know she’s smiling from above. May God grant her Peace yonder. We miss you, Rita Omo Odudukudu. Continue to rest in peace, Iya Ibeji,” he wrote.
Henrietta, a respected actress in the Nigerian film industry, died after suffering complications linked to diabetes. Her death came as a shock to colleagues, fans and loved ones.
Prompt News reports before her passing, she had survived a serious road accident along the Sagamu-Abeokuta highway, an incident that nearly claimed her life.
