Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has reflected on the emotional journey that led to the birth of his triplets with his wife, actress Mo Bimpe, describing the experience as one that exceeded all their expectations.
During an interview with Morayo Afolabi Brown, the actor revealed that the couple had waited for years before becoming parents, adding that he made it a priority to care for his wife throughout the pregnancy because he understood how much the moment meant to them.
He also praised Mo Bimpe for her resilience, describing her as a woman of remarkable strength.
Prompt News reports Lateef admitted he was overwhelmed when doctors informed him they were expecting triplets, saying the news left him with conflicting emotions.
“It was shocking for me; at the same time, it was a mixed feeling. When you’ve been expecting something, and then it came beyond your expectations, that means the waiting is not a bad one.”
According to the actor, the long wait only strengthened his commitment to supporting his wife.
“When you’ve been up and expecting, and then it now finally happened, you will pamper her, but she’s a strong woman.”
Sharing his experience in the delivery room, Lateef disclosed that he remained with his wife from start to finish and witnessed the entire process firsthand.

“I cannot stay back; we did it together. We are in it together; I was right there, and I saw it happen. It wasn’t an easy task. I give it up to the woman. Well done.”
Asked whether they would consider expanding their family, the actor said the decision rests with God, although he acknowledged that Mo Bimpe hopes to have a daughter someday.
“Everything is in God’s hands because they are boys. I know my wife will love to have a female so we can do one more round, maybe.”
