The organisers of the National Women Mega Empowerment and Rally 2026 have announced a high-profile entertainment committee made up of top government officials and Nollywood personalities ahead of the scheduled May 5 event in Abuja.
The initiative, connected to the office of Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim and the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, said the committee will oversee cultural and creative activities for the rally set to hold at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
In a statement shared on its official Instagram handle on Sunday, the organisers said the event, themed “The Power of 10 Million: One Voice! One Movement!! One Choice!!!”, is expected to bring together millions of women from across the country.
“This is more than entertainment, this is the spirit of the movement in motion. Celebrating women. Showcasing culture. Inspiring a nation through creativity and unity,” the statement read.
Prompt News reports the committee is chaired by Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, with co-chairpersons including Hannatu Musa Musawa, Rachael Umahi and Ramatu Tijani.

According to the organisers, the committee will be responsible for “planning, organising and coordinating all entertainment-related activities to ensure the programme is engaging, lively and memorable.”

They added that the rally is aimed at mobilising women across Nigeria through empowerment programmes combined with cultural and creative expression.
