Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has surprised singer Mayorkun with a Tesla Cybertruck, years after the latter left his record label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).
The singer shared the gesture on his Instagram Story on Sunday, posting a photo of the luxury electric vehicle alongside a personal message to his former signee.
“My gift to you. I love you #iammayorkun,” Davido wrote.
He also instructed one of his associates to ensure the vehicle reached the singer, writing, “#babzii_chilling pls have it delivered 2moro.”
While Davido did not reveal the value of the gift, the vehicle shown is a Tesla Cybertruck, the electric pickup truck known for its futuristic stainless-steel exterior and advanced technology.
The Cybertruck sells for between $69,990 and $99,990 in the United States, depending on its variant and features.
In Nigeria, however, the vehicle commands a much higher price because of shipping costs, import duties and other charges, with estimates placing its value between ₦200 million and ₦340 million.

Prompt News reports Mayorkun joined Davido Music Worldwide in 2016 after being discovered by the award-winning singer and later exited the label in 2021 to pursue his career independently.
Despite no longer being signed to DMW, the two artistes have continued to maintain a close relationship, regularly showing support for each other’s careers and personal milestones.
