The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has released its Women’s Africa Best XI for 2025, with five Super Falcons players making the shortlist, Prompt News reports.
The players are; Chiamaka Nnadozie, Michelle Alozie, Ashleigh Plumptre , Christy Ucheibe, and Rasheedat Ajibade.
IFFHS unveiled the selection on their official website.
Nnadozie maintained her position as the best goalkeeper in Africa.
Michelle Alozie, and Ashleigh Plumptre earned their position in the defence.
Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade, and Christy Ucheibe were selected among the midfielders.
South Africa duo Bambanani Mbane, and Lebohang Ramalepe were also included in the Team of the Year.
Others are, Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak, the 2025 CAF African Women’s Player of the Year, Malawi’s Temwa Chawinga, Zambia’s Barbra Banda and Morocco’s Sanaâ Mssoudy.
