Nollywood crew member Queen Esther Udeh has responded after actress Destiny Etiko allegedly sent her a message threatening legal action over claims she made about their encounter on a movie set.
Esther had previously shared her experience with Etiko on the Where Is The Lie podcast, where she alleged that the actress warned her against coming close while she was filming.
According to the crew member, Etiko told her that she would take her phone, throw it away and slap her if she approached her.
Prompt News reports Esther also said Etiko’s alleged treatment of her became so uncomfortable that she began wondering whether there was something wrong with her appearance or if she was “smelling”.
The controversy resurfaced after Esther shared a screenshot of an alleged direct message from Etiko on social media.
In the message, the actress reportedly demanded that Esther provide evidence to support her claims and warned that she could face legal consequences for mentioning her name in what Etiko described as lies.
“I must find you, and you must prove yourself; otherwise, you will face the law for calling out my name with lies. I already have your video saved as evidence.
“You must prove it”.

Sharing the alleged message, Esther maintained her earlier account and accused Etiko of threatening to have her arrested because of the claims she made during the podcast interview.
“Destiny Etiko sent me this DM, threatening to find and arrest me in response to the interview where I said she slapped me and smashed my phone because I wanted to take a picture with her on set. I still stand by what I said, and here’s the proof.”
