Super Falcons duo, Rasheedat Ajibade and Esther Okoronkwo are in the running for the CAF Women’s Player of the Year award for 2025, Prompt News reports.
The duo are nominated along with eight other players.
Ajibade scored one goal and provided two assists in six appearances for Nigeria at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward won the Player of the Tournament award at the competition.
Okoronkwo registered two goals and six assists in Morocco 2024.
The 28-year-old was named Player of the Match in the thrilling 3-2 final victory over Morocco.
Zambia’s Barbara Banda won the award last year.
