An employee of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Mr. Omoniyi Eleyinmi, has been released days after being abducted from his residence along the Akungba–Supare Akoko Road.
Eleyinmi was seized by armed men last Sunday, sparking concern within the university community.
A staff member of the institution confirmed his release on Sunday, stating that he is now safe.
Further details of his release were not immediately available as of press time.
