Rwanda head coach Torsten Spittler says playing in front of the vociferous home fans will boost the team’s chances against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The Amavubi will entertain the Super Eagles at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday two encounter on Tuesday.
The home fans are expected to come in large numbers to support the team.
Spittler claimed their presence can help his side claim a famous victory.
“We know our next game against Nigeria won’t be easy, but we hope to make the best of our home advantage,” the German was quoted by Rwandan news hub, The New Times.
“Now every point counts, and this draw with Libya brings us more confidence.”
The game will kick-off at 2pm Nigeria time.
