Calvin Bassey is optimistic the Super Eagles will prevail over the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, Prompt News reports.
Nigeria will be targeting their second consecutive win at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations when they take on Sami Trabelsi’s side in Fès on Saturday.
Tunisia eliminated the Super Eagles in a Round of 16 encounter in 2021.
Bassey is optimistic they will prevail over the North Africans.
“Tunisia are a good team and we should expect a difficult game, but we have enough quality to win it,” Bassey predicted.
A win will see the Super Eagles earn a berth in the Round of 16.
Tanzania and Uganda in the other Group C encounter.
