Nigerian comedian Anita Asuoha, better known as Real Warri Pikin, has been named Best Stand-Up Comedian at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards, AFRIMMA.
The comedian shared the news with her followers on Instagram on Sunday after emerging victorious at the ceremony held in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday.
Celebrating the recognition, she wrote, “We won #afrimma Best Stand-up Comedian 2026.”
Prompt News reports Real Warri Pikin claimed the award in a competitive category that featured several established comedians from across Africa.
Her fellow Nigerians Basketmouth, Bovi and Godfrey were among the nominees, alongside Kenya’s Eric Omondi and Ty Ngachira, South Africa’s Trevor Noah and Uganda’s Patrick “Salvado” Idringi.

The 2026 edition of AFRIMMA was held on September 12 at Annette Strauss Square, located within the AT&T Performing Arts Centre area in Dallas, Texas.
The award adds another major recognition to Real Warri Pikin’s career as one of Nigeria’s prominent comedy personalities.
