BBNaija star Phyna has supported fellow former housemate Tochi’s advice to reality stars struggling financially, urging them to explore other ways of making money instead of relying solely on their celebrity status.
Phyna questioned the belief that former BBNaija housemates should carry the celebrity label and wait for brands to offer them endorsement deals.
She also criticised the practice of measuring a reality star’s success by the number or reported value of brand partnerships they have secured.
According to Phyna, the figures publicly attached to endorsement deals may not represent the actual amount received by the celebrities after management fees and other expenses have been deducted.

Prompt News reports she argued that some ex-housemates could end up with little money despite being associated with multi-million-naira deals, leaving them with little more than bragging rights.
