Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has confirmed that her marriage to her estranged husband, Bobby Maris, has come to an end.
Speculation about trouble in the relationship had surfaced after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram. The rumours gained more attention when both of them, alongside the actress’s younger sister, shared cryptic posts on their Instagram Stories.
Addressing the speculation on Tuesday evening, Ogbodo appeared to confirm the separation in a post on her Instagram Story, questioning why ending a marriage should be considered wrong.

Prompt News reports the actress also expressed frustration over the marriage, saying she had reached her limit and insisting that women should not be criticised for walking away from unhappy unions.
“For Person to Tire for Marriage now nah Taboo because nah Woman! Must it always be Man must taya? My Tayad is Tayad! I’m Tired of the Princess wey dey marry me. What is wrong with that? To be happy As a Woman in Marriage is by Connection in this Country!
