Nigerian singer Bigiano has revealed that he wrote the popular hit song Dami Duro for fellow artist Davido.
In a recent interview with content creator Akin Abolade, the Shayo crooner stated that he was responsible for the song’s hook.
“I wrote Dami Duro for Davido. I wrote the hook,” he said.
Speaking on his absence from the music scene, Bigiano explained, “Sometimes, you have to take a break to be able to come back again. I went on a sabbatical to make my return to music massive.”

He also addressed speculations about his financial status, insisting that he is not struggling. “I can’t be broke,” he stressed.
Released in 2011, Dami Duro catapulted Davido to stardom and has since been recognised as one of the greatest Afrobeats songs of all time by both local and international fans.
Prompt News reports Bigiano’s claims, he is not officially credited as a co-writer of the track, and Davido has yet to comment on the matter.
