Nigerian reality TV star Teddy A has shared his opinion on marriage and partnership, revealing that he is not comfortable with the idea of having a wife who stays at home without pursuing her own goals.
Speaking during a conversation on Echo Room, the former Big Brother Naija housemate explained that he admires hardworking women and enjoys supporting their ambitions.
According to him, he has no issue being married to a successful woman, as long as both partners are building a future together.
“The way I see a woman, I love to support a woman. I have no problem having a high-value woman; I do not want a stay-at-home wife,” he said.
“I hate that s**t, we both have got to get it so when we get older, we can enjoy what we have worked on together.”
Despite supporting independent women, Teddy A noted that respect and submission remain important qualities in marriage.
“But the point where you miss it is when you are not submissive,” he added.
His remarks come amid ongoing speculation surrounding his marriage to actress and fellow reality TV star Bambam.
Rumours of trouble in their relationship surfaced after social media users noticed the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
