Comedian and actor Basketmouth has called on people to show more appreciation for life, stressing that waking up healthy and alive is one of the greatest blessings anyone can have.
In a message shared via his Instagram story, the entertainer advised the public not to take health or life for granted, noting that many everyday challenges become insignificant when compared to good health.
He explained that issues such as missed deadlines, job loss, lack of promotion, or even car troubles should be viewed differently when one is alive and well.
According to him, the ability to move freely and use the body without pain is a blessing many people overlook.
Basketmouth added that people often fail to appreciate their health until they experience discomfort, using a humorous illustration about physical pain to drive home his point.
He wrote: “We all need to do a better job of showing gratitude to God. Waking up in the morning, healthy and alive, is a blessing that many people don’t have.
“So what if you miss a deadline? So, what if you don’t get that promotion? Lose your job? Or your car breaks down? If you’re alive and healthy, you still have something priceless.
“Don’t take anything for granted. Being able to use every part of your body without pain or difficulty is a gift. We often don’t appreciate what we have until it’s gone.
“Have you ever had boils on both ass cheeks before? That’s when you truly discover the value of a buttocks. Suddenly, sitting becomes a luxury and functioning buttocks becomes a blessing”.
