Lloyd Kelly has said it is important for Galatasaray to stop Victor Osimhen in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League playoffs tie, Prompt News reports.
Osimhen played a pivotal role in Galatasaray’s 5-2 victory in the first leg in Istanbul last week.
The Nigeria international’s relentless pressing and intelligent movement unsettled the Juventus defence throughout the encounter.
The powerful striker is expected to lead Galatasaray’s attack after recovering from a minor knee injury.
Juventus will need to win by three goals to keep the tie alive and will need to win by four goals if they are to avoid a penalty shootout.
Kelly reckoned they must keep the forward quiet in other to achieve their objective.
“Osimhen is an extraordinary player. He showed that in the first game. We shouldn’t give him the same opportunities. We need to put our whole heart into the game,” Kelly told a press conference on Tuesday.
