Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has announced veteran actor Pete Edochie as one of the major cast members of her forthcoming movie, Bestie.
Abraham made the announcement on Monday through her social media page as she began revealing the star-studded cast lined up for the film.
Edochie, one of Nollywood’s most respected veteran actors, will portray a character named Papa Ngozi in the movie.
Sharing the cast reveal, Abraham expressed her excitement over having the legendary actor join the production.
“Pa Pete Edochie as Papa Ngozi in BESTIE! A legend, GOAT, is in the building! BESTIE in cinemas from 16th December!” Abraham wrote.
The announcement has sparked excitement among fans, with many looking forward to seeing Edochie feature in the production alongside Abraham and other members of the cast.
Prompt News reports Bestie is scheduled to arrive in cinemas nationwide on December 16.
