Senator Ned Nwoko of Delta North has shared a statement from one of his domestic staff, countering allegations made by his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels.
The statement, provided by his nurse Dora, presents a different view of events at the senator’s home after Regina left.
On 16 December 2025, Regina had posted a WhatsApp exchange with Ruth, a domestic nurse who had been caring for her two sons, Munir and Khalifa. In the chat, Ruth announced her resignation, claiming the household “had never been the same” since Regina’s departure.
Nearly five weeks later, Mr Nwoko offered a contrasting perspective. He posted a statement from Dora, who started working in the household in July 2023 and described several disturbing incidents she witnessed during her employment. The statement was reportedly sent to the senator on 9 January 2026.
“According to her account, Mrs Regina started requesting that she purchase ‘hard drugs that needed prescriptions’ and would sometimes contact her to ask about ‘the lethal doses of some drugs like morphine and pethidine,’” Nwoko shared from Dora’s statement.
Dora recalled a particularly alarming incident one evening, entering Regina’s room to find “dangerous opioids, anaesthesia and her regular weed scattered all over the table.” She added that Regina “emptied a ketamine injection into a flat plate and instructed her to microwave it into crystals.” Dora said she immediately reported the matter to her employer.
On the subject of domestic abuse, Dora insisted she never witnessed Mr Nwoko harm Regina. “My boss, Sen. Ned Nwoko, neither drinks nor smokes, and I haven’t heard of him physically abusing my Madam in any way,” she stated.
She added that the only disputes she observed stemmed from arguments over Regina’s drinking and smoking habits. Dora stressed that she consistently refused to comply with any of Regina’s requests involving drugs or unsafe practices, instead acting out of concern by reporting the incidents.
Nwoko said Dora’s statement reinforces his claim that Regina’s challenges were related to drug and alcohol use. He also mentioned Izuvegbu “Ann” Anthonet, alleging that she frequently supplied and mixed drugs for Regina, contributing to legal issues.

“According to the same accounts, Ann Cassie was charged with multiple offences, including claims of procuring an illegal abortion for Mrs Regina some years ago, an issue Mrs Regina has referenced in one of her own social media posts, as well as cyberbullying arising from statements said to be criminally defamatory and posted online. Ann Cassie is reported to have been granted bail while the matters are expected to proceed through the legal process. Observers say the coming months may witness further legal and public developments surrounding the unfolding controversy,” he said.
The senator further alleged that Ann caused the death of his unborn child by making Regina ingest a large quantity of cannabis, leaving her bleeding for weeks.
Prompt News reports the highly publicized marital dispute between Nwoko and Daniels, which began in October 2025, intensified after Regina accused him of physical assault. Nwoko denied the allegations, claiming she engaged in substance abuse and vandalized property. Regina later underwent a drug test that returned negative, but the senator has rejected its validity, saying he plans to challenge the results in court.
As of press time, Regina Daniels had not responded to the latest allegations.
