Controversial artists Portable and Speed Darlington nearly came to blows during a heated face-off ahead of their highly anticipated celebrity boxing match.
The match is scheduled to take place today, April 18, at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Prompt News reports that Portable tried to bully his opponents saying: “You better say you’re not fighting again. I just came out of prison, I’m a former prisoner, and they’ve cut my hair. It’s all the bad side of my life that they cut away. I have already won this fight.”
Speed Darlington replied “You can’t beat me, let’s go now! Nothing can happen. It is here that they will wipe your blood. Just show up tomorrow. I will take your belt home with me. I will bring the coffin for you and bury you in it after I beat you.”
Both musicians have shared videos of themselves training rigorously in preparation for the bout.
A recent clip shows them checking their weight and exchanging tense words during the official pre-fight face-off.
