Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa has opened up about her experience with marriage and divorce, claiming that some men avoid directly ending relationships and instead behave in ways that push their partners to leave.
Makinwa, who was previously married, reflected on her experience while discussing how some relationships reach a point where one partner no longer wants to continue.
According to her, some men may become distant or deliberately change their behaviour rather than having an honest conversation about the state of the relationship.
Prompt News reports she claimed that such actions can leave women feeling that they have no choice but to initiate a breakup or divorce.

“I got married at 30 and divorced at 31. I don’t even think men have the balls to break up with women these days, they just frustrate you till you leave. That’s their new tactics, they will frustrate you till you leave. A man will never sit you down and tell you it’s not working out but everything about him tells you it’s not working out,” she said.
