Arrangements for defection from the All Progressives Congress APC, to New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP by the Federal legislator representing Birnin Magaji/Kaura Namoda Federal Constituency Aminu Sani Jaji are on top gear.

As part of the arrangements, Sani Jaji held a crucial closed door meeting with the national leader of the NNPP, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, at his residence, where they concluded arrangements for the defection.

A source very close to the House of Representatives member who pleaded unanimous, said Sani Jaji told Kwankwaso that he spent over five billion Naira for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the presidential campaign with an agreement to be given speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, but betrayed by the president.

He said he was really astonished and disappointed with the change of attitude and agreement by the president in the matter.

” I could not imagine how I suffered with the huge resources I deployed in the campaign to make the president victorious in the election, only to be betrayed by the president.

” I will do everything to retaliate since I have been betrayed by the president.
” I am ready to join forces with Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and other opposition politicians of Northern extractions to defeat the president, and the APC comes 2027 presidential election.” Sani Jaji told the close associate.

It was said that the NNPP national leader welcomed and sympathised with him on the expenses he incurred during the last presidential campaign that saw Tinubu’s victory in the election and promised to work together.

According to our reporter, Sani Jaji told Kwankwaso that he had made up his mind to join the party for its reliability, internal democracy and wonderful leadership.

He accused both the APC and Tinubu of lack of focus, tribalism, and nepotism against the north and bowed to join hands with some northern leaders to change the country’s leadership comes 2027 presidential election

During the meeting, a call was put through to Ahmed Sani Yeriman Bakura, who said he was on a visit to Canada, but assured Kwankwaso that he was part of the arrangement and would see Kwankwaso on his return.

More details of the discussion between Sani Jaji and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso will be made public soon.
