Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has spoken out against the growing trend of hate speech and death wishes on social media, calling for a more united and respectful Nigeria.
In a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram page, Badmus expressed disappointment over a social media influencer who used their platform to wish death on someone. She emphasized that political disagreements should never override basic human values.
“It’s truly disheartening to see a social media influencer use their platform to wish death on anyone at all,” she wrote. “No matter your political views, we must never let hate over ride our humanity.”

The actress urged Nigerians to adopt a more constructive approach toward national change, stressing that meaningful progress can only come through honest conversations and unity.
“As Nigerians, we are better than this. If we want change, let it be through dialogue, truth, and unity – not violence or death wishes,” she said.
Ending her message with a powerful call to action, she added: “Let’s choose decency over division.”
