Nigerian music star Davido has responded to the theft allegations that surfaced during his wedding celebrations.
The controversy began after music executive Ubi Franklin, who attended the wedding, was accused of stealing an expensive wristwatch.
Franklin denied the claims in a press statement, with Davido publicly standing by him.

The singer, however, shifted focus to the joy of his wedding day, declaring that nothing could diminish the beauty of the event. He described the ceremony with his wife, Chioma, as “amazing” and “perfect,” adding that they are still basking in the happiness it brought.
In his words: “We had an amazing Wedding, Perfect in fact! Me and my wife body still Dey sweet us like this. NOTHING UNA FIT DO SAY OR MAKE UP will never change the facts that we had a fairytale wedding! And one of the best days if not the best day of our lives! The whole world celebrated us.”
