Media personality Toke Makinwa has addressed ongoing rumours that her pregnancy was achieved through surrogacy by sharing a clear photo of her bare baby bump.
On Wednesday, Toke revealed via Instagram that she is expecting her first child, posting a video of her growing belly and describing the journey as the “biggest project” of her life and her “highest calling.”
She said her declaration for 2025 was to experience a different year, and God had answered her prayer.

In a heartfelt message to God, she expressed gratitude for transforming her life and opening doors that no one could close.
She admitted that while she did not understand the delay before, she now sees the reason.
Her announcement, however, drew scepticism from a troll who claimed the pregnancy was artificial and the result of a surrogate.
In response, actress Toyin Abraham cursed out the critic, Funke Akindele insulted the person in Yoruba, and singer Tiwa Savage advised that the comment be deleted.
Toke has now taken matters into her own hands, posting a Snapchat photo of herself in joggers and a black singlet pulled up to reveal her bump.
In her words: “This era is called growing life.”
