The controversy surrounding the alleged paternity of Anu Adeleke has taken a new turn, following a public exchange between media personality Daddy Freeze and Anu’s mother, Grace Ayotomide Labinjoh, over Davido’s disputed DNA test results.
Daddy Freeze had earlier weighed in on the matter, stating that Davido was not Anu’s biological father after reviewing what he described as a DNA report connected to the case.
His comment triggered a strong reaction from Anu’s mother, who insisted that the test being referenced was unreliable.
She shared images of a DNA test reportedly conducted in 2014, claiming it was manipulated and did not follow standard procedures.
According to her, only blood samples were taken, with no DNA swab, and the process lacked transparency.
Addressing Daddy Freeze directly, she maintained that there was never any record of five DNA tests and denied claims that she selected the testing centre.
She alleged that Davido’s father handled the arrangements and payments for the test.
She said, “Daddy Freeze, we will request another test because the only DNA test that was done was altered in September 2014. There was no DNA swab. They took Anu’s blood, and Davido’s blood was drawn separately in a room in which we were not allowed to enter. The ONLY DNA TEST he did is what you saw. Post it! The false negative test with a big bag of money.
“There is no record of 5 DNA tests anywhere, and I never picked any hospital. Dr Adeleke picked the hospital lab and paid for it. It is not ours. Last year they said it was two. Today it’s 5. Stop using the power of influence to brainwash Nigerians to believe lies. Money cannot buy everything.”

In response, Daddy Freeze urged her to focus on raising her daughter without public pressure and warned against escalating the issue online. He stated that Davido could not be compelled to undergo another DNA test and advised her to seek legal counsel instead.
“You are just like a daughter to me because your father was my lecturer. I will advise you to raise this child yourself and do everything to make sure she becomes successful. If the father is de@d, will you not raise her? Take this issue off social media, because nobody can force Davido to take a DNA test. He can file that you are harassing!ng him and the government will give you a restraining order,” he said.
The dispute traces back to Anu’s emotional appeal on Instagram, where she called for a DNA test to confirm her identity, citing years of bullying and mental strain from peers who questioned her claims of being Davido’s daughter.
Davido responded by firmly denying paternity, stating that five DNA tests had already been conducted, all yielding negative results. He said the tests were carried out at hospitals chosen by both parties and expressed frustration over the continued claims, warning that legal steps could be taken against Anu’s mother.
Prompt News reports Anu later accused the singer of intimidation and verbal abuse, alleging that he threatened her mother and changed his account of how many DNA tests were carried out. Her mother also released screenshots of alleged private messages and called for an independent DNA test supervised by international authorities.
