Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has reacted to a comment allegedly made by her ex-husband’s new partner, Gbemi, amid speculation surrounding their past relationship.
Gbemi had reportedly commented on one of Anita’s social media posts, suggesting that the actress still missed her former husband, MC Fish, while reminding her that he was now with her.
Shortly afterwards, Anita shared a cryptic post about God and the future, stating that God does not reveal tomorrow to those who mock others. The post was widely interpreted as a response to Gbemi’s comment.
However, Anita has now clarified that the message was not directed at her ex-husband’s partner.
Prompt News reports the actress expressed frustration over the attention her social media captions receive, saying she can no longer make a simple post without blogs picking it up.
She also reflected on her Christian faith, expressing gratitude for the changes in her life since embracing Christ. Anita joked that the “old” version of herself would have prepared a ring light before responding to the situation.
While she said she did not want to engage with Gbemi, the actress hinted that she had more to say but would rather keep certain details private.
