Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has climbed to third place on Galatasaray’s all-time list of highest-scoring foreign players, Prompt News Online reports.
Osimhen moved up the ranking after bagging a brace in the Turkish champions’ commanding 4-0 victory over Erzurum FK on Friday night.
The two goals increased the 27-year-old’s tally for Galatasaray to 62, taking him past former Czech Republic international Milan Baros, who scored 61 goals for the Istanbul club.
Osimhen has also contributed 16 assists in 76 appearances for the Yellow and Reds.
The Nigeria international now has only two players ahead of him on the prestigious list. Argentine forward Mauro Icardi leads the chart with 77 goals, while club legend Gheorghe Hagi is second with 72.
Osimhen’s impressive display against Erzurum FK also saw him equal a feat last achieved at the club more than two decades ago.
The former Lille striker became the first Galatasaray player since Brazilian great Mario Jardel in the 2000/01 season to score four or more goals in the opening two games of a Süper Lig campaign.
Osimhen has enjoyed a superb start to the 2026/27 season, registering four goals and one assist in Galatasaray’s opening two league matches.
