AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori is hopeful of making England’s 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
Tomori has featured regularly for the Serie A giants this season.
The centre-back has however been largely ignored by England technical crew.
He told the Athletic: “Coach (Thomas) Tuchel and I spoke a few months ago, and he said I’m in the running and that there’s not much to do, just keep moving forward.
“In football and in life, anything can happen. I’m focused on myself, doing my best to help myself, to help Milan. And then, as I said, I hope to be called up.”
The 28-year-old has made five appearances for the Three Lions.
