Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has rejected a ₦50 million proposal to face popular streamer Carter Efe in a celebrity boxing match, insisting that the offer falls far short of his expectations.
Prompt News reports the initial proposal came from music executive Soso Soberekon during a livestream with Carter Efe, who immediately accepted the challenge and encouraged Soso to set a date and venue for the fight.
In a viral video response, Portable dismissed the ₦50 million offer and demanded a far more lucrative deal. He stated that a luxury car valued at ₦300 million must be added to the prize before he would agree to participate.
Confident in his boxing abilities, Portable referenced previous victories in celebrity bouts, promising a decisive win if his terms are met.

“Soso, ₦50 million is too small. Give me ₦50 million plus a car worth ₦300 million, making it ₦350 million, and I will beat Carter Efe mercilessly. I’m the same guy who defeated Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington,” he said.
At the time of reporting, Soso Soberekon has not publicly addressed Portable’s counter-demand.
