Nigerian music superstar Davido, also known as David Adeleke, and his wife Chioma recently moved fans with a tender interaction on Instagram.
After stepping away from social media following the tragic passing of their son Ifeanyi in 2022, Chioma returned on Thursday with an emotional post. She shared a photo of her wedding bracelet, engraved with Ifeanyi’s image, and described him as her “best friend” who accompanied her into forever.

“My best friend walked into me forever, Ify, you’re on my mind every day and you live in my heart. Always and forever. Love, Mummy.”
Davido responded with a heartfelt note, writing:
“Till Infinity.”
The post has sparked an outpouring of support from fans and well-wishers, many of whom offered comforting words to the couple as they continue to grieve and heal.
Ifeanyi’s untimely death occurred in October 2022 after a drowning accident at his father’s Banana Island residence in Lagos. Chioma’s social media silence since then made this post a particularly touching return.
