Influencer and entrepreneur Sophia Momodu has opened up about the lengths she went to in order to keep an eye on her daughter, Imade, during a recent school trip to France.
In a post shared on her Snapchat page, Momodu disclosed that she booked a last-minute flight so she could be close to Imade while the youngster travelled with her classmates to Paris.
The mother of one said she has no intention of easing up on her protective nature, regardless of whether her daughter feels she is overly watchful.
“You people should tell your internet niece that I will never care if she thinks I’m always on her case cos I’ll never stop. Also, glad she knows I’m always watching her like a hawk chile!” she wrote.
Prompt News reports Momodu explained that although Imade was thrilled about the excursion and proud to be travelling with her classmates, she struggled emotionally with the idea of her daughter spending days away from home without her parents.
“2 months ago, she took a trip with her classmates. She was so excited and proud of herself.”
“I was in my room crying and booking my flight too, because 10 days in the North of France without parents was wild to me. It took me months to agree to this trip!”
