Why I Was Scared When Temi Got Pregnant — Nana Otedola

Nana Otedola, the mother of actress and model Temi Otedola, has shared her initial concerns after learning that her daughter was expecting her first child with singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi, whose real name is Tosin Ajibade.

Speaking during a conversation with the couple, Nana said her biggest concern stemmed from Mr Eazi’s demanding career in the entertainment industry, which often requires him to travel frequently.

Reflecting on her own experience as a mother, she explained that she spent much of her children’s upbringing caring for them largely on her own and did not want Temi to face a similar situation.

“When you got pregnant, I was scared because Tosin works in the entertainment industry and travels a lot. I spent most of my parenting years raising my children on my own, and I didn’t want my daughter to go through the same thing. I was worried she’d be left at home alone with the baby.”

Prompt News reports Nana also admitted she was surprised by how quickly the couple decided to start a family, saying she had expected them to enjoy married life for a few more years before welcoming a child.

“I was shocked you guys were having a baby so soon. I thought you’d spend about three years enjoying the honeymoon phase. But she told me, ‘Mum, we’ve been together for five years… we’ve already done all that.’”
