Renowned Nigerian media entrepreneur Mo Abudu has shared insights into her decision to leave a successful corporate career in pursuit of her passion for media.
Speaking during a recent event on personal development, the EbonyLife TV founder revealed that she walked away from a secure job in the oil and gas sector at the age of 40, despite having no obvious reason to do so.
“I left my stable 9-to-5 oil and gas job at 40 to follow mine. It was a really nice job and there was no reason to leave, but I knew God wanted me to do something else,” she said.
Before venturing into media, Abudu built a strong career in human resources and training at ExxonMobil, where she held senior roles.
