Comedian and actor Justice Nuagbe, popularly known as Ushbebe, has stirred reactions online after urging Nigerians to pray for music legend 2Baba over his closeness to Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru.
In a trending video posted on X on Saturday, Ushbebe expressed concern about what he described as 2Baba’s unusual attachment to Osawaru, hinting that the relationship may go beyond what the public sees.
He took issue with how the iconic singer is often seen following the politician around, describing it as unbecoming of someone of his status.
According to him, the Afrobeats star appears to be “dragged around like a schoolboy.”
“I usually mind my business, but this time I can’t stay silent,” Ushbebe said. “What’s with all this nonsense? Why is a legend being led around like someone being dropped off at school? We need to intercede for our legend.”
He added, “They’re holding a whole legend’s hand like a toddler. 2Baba, it’s time to free yourself. Emancipate yourself. I’ve kept quiet for long, but this one choke.”
This isn’t the first time concern has been raised about the duo’s bond. 2Baba’s mother, Rose Idibia, had earlier pleaded with Natasha to leave her son alone, suggesting that he may not be in the right frame of mind.
She also urged the politician to remove the “beads you put on his hand and neck,” implying a deeper influence at play.
