Newcastle United were pulverised 7-2 by Barcelona in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 encounter at the Sportify Camp Nou on Wednesday night.
Barcelona progressed to the quarter-finals 8-3 on aggregate.
The hosts led 3-2 at the break, having scored through Raphinha, Marc Bernal, and Lamine Yamal, while Anthony Elanga bagged a brace for Newcastle United.
Robert Lewandowski bagged a brace after the break with Raphinha, and Fermin Lopez for the Blaugurana in the second half.
Hansi Flick’s side will face either Atletico Madrid or Tottenham Hotspur in the last-eight.
Newcastle United are the third Champions League team to crash out of the competition.
