Nigeria’s Super Falcons will face Senegal in a two-match international friendly series next month as part of their preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Prompt News Online reports.
Both fixtures are scheduled to take place at the Remo Stars International Stadium in Ikenne, with the games billed for Friday, June 5 and Monday, June 8.
The friendlies are expected to help head coach Justine Madugu fine-tune his squad ahead of the WAFCON 2026 finals set to hold in Morocco in July 2026.
The Super Falcons were initially slated to play Jamaica in a friendly later this month, but the Caribbean side pulled out due to logistical challenges.
Nigeria last featured in March, when they recorded a 3-1 victory over Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses in an international friendly in Yaounde.
The nine-time African champions will head to Morocco aiming to secure an 11th continental title.
They have been drawn in Group C alongside Zambia, Egypt, and debutants Malawi.
