Popular show promoter Sam Larry has thrown shade at Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo for disabling comments on her Instagram post following renewed tension over the push for justice in the case of late singer Mohbad.
The tension was reignited after social media activist VeryDarkMan alleged that Iyabo Ojo was part of a celebrity WhatsApp group working secretly to undermine his campaign.
He claimed the group was behind efforts to suppress his voice and even attempted to get him arrested.

In her defence, Iyabo Ojo dismissed the accusations as baseless and malicious, asserting that false narratives were being deliberately crafted to discredit her.
But shortly after posting her response, she switched off comments—leading to criticism from some Nigerians who accused her of avoiding accountability. Not long after, the post was completely taken down.
Reacting to the situation, Sam Larry mocked the actress via Instagram, sarcastically comparing her reaction to his own experience with public backlash.
“Small thing una dey off comment, me way dem say I kill Diego Jota, kill Buhari, I no off comment. Wontu sope mo pa TV 😂😂😂. Please on comment make lovely Nigerians greet you o,” he wrote.
Sam Larry, who has also faced heavy scrutiny over alleged links to Mohbad’s controversial death, appeared to make light of the criticism he has received, suggesting that unlike Iyabo Ojo, he doesn’t shy away from public engagement—even when under fire.
