The Nigeria Police Force, Zone One Command, Kano, has declared a 37-year-old man, Usman Ibrahim, wanted over allegations bordering on criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal misappropriation and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace.
Ibrahim, whose occupation was not stated, was declared wanted in a bulletin issued under the authority of the Inspector-General of Police.
The bulletin, made available to PUNCH Online on Tuesday by the Zone One Police Public Relations Officer, Hussaini Abdullahi, described Ibrahim as dark-complexioned, with a round face and black eyes.
According to the police, Ibrahim’s last known address is No. 14, Layin Jaji-Majigama, in the Nasarawa Local Government Area of Kano State.
The command urged members of the public who might have information about his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone One, Kano.
The police said the wanted notice was issued pursuant to Force Directive CID No. 48, which provides for rewards for information leading to the arrest of persons declared wanted under the directive.
The command also appealed to anyone who encounters Ibrahim to assist the police in securing his arrest and hand him over to the nearest police station or the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone One, Kano.
The alleged offences listed in the bulletin are criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal misappropriation and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace.
The police did not disclose further details of the allegations against Ibrahim in the bulletin.

The command urged members of the public to provide credible information that could assist investigators in locating and apprehending the wanted man.
