Big Brother Naija Level Up winner Phyna has responded to backlash following her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery months after the death of her sister.
The reality star recently revealed that she had procedures done, including a 360 liposuction and a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), sparking criticism from some social media users who questioned the timing.
Reacting in a now-deleted comment, Phyna called out her critics, describing many Nigerians as hypocritical and insensitive.
“Nigerians are hypocrites. A lot of miserable people in my comment section are dragging me for doing BBL a few months after my sister’s de@th. Even her parents moved on the second day she d!ed. I have already grieved my sister, and she will always remain in my heart,” she wrote.
She maintained that she has already mourned her sister and has the right to move forward with her life while still keeping her memory alive.
Phyna also clashed with a social media user who questioned her actions, responding sharply to the comment.

“Wetin dey worry you? Shey, your sister just die,” the user wrote.
Phyna replied, “I be think sey your mama die yesterday”.
