Popular TikTok creator Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, has announced that he is putting his university education on hold, just days after celebrating his admission to study law at a private Lagos State university.
During a live TikTok session, Peller explained that financial challenges influenced his decision, revealing that attending lectures would take away from his income.
“I just remember, I was inside class for four hours. I didn’t make any money. I will write, I will look, I will play, not making anything. God forbid. I am not doing that one again,” he said.
The influencer also shared that he felt out of place among his classmates, who he described as much older than him.
“When I enter the school, I notice that everyone is old, I am the only young blood there,” Peller added.
Looking ahead, he hinted that he may return to university later in life. “So I need to go old. Maybe when I clock like 30, 40 years, I will now go to school. Please cancel everything. I am tired,” he said.

Prompt News reports Peller’s announcement marks a reversal from the excitement he recently shared about securing admission to study law. Previously, he had addressed critics who questioned his educational background.
“Everyone has been criticising me for not being educated, as if I’m the first person who didn’t attend university. Now, all of you should leave social media, because I’m in school,” he said.
“I’m now studying law. You can see it, right? You can’t mess with me anymore. I know the law,” he added.
