Victor Osimhen has linked up with his Galatasaray teammates for pre-season training after being granted extended leave by the Turkish Super Lig champions, Prompt News Online reports.

The Nigeria international was allowed to report later than the rest of the squad following the conclusion of his off-season break.

Galatasaray resumed preparations for the new campaign at the club’s Kemerburgaz Metin Oktay Facilities under the guidance of head coach Okan Buruk, with Osimhen taking part in the training session.

The Yellow and Reds are scheduled to travel to Austria on Thursday, 23 July, for a pre-season training camp, where they will play two friendly matches as part of their preparations for the 2026/27 season.

Buruk’s men will first take on Serie A side Monza before wrapping up the tour with another clash against fellow Italian outfit Venezia on Monday, 27 July.

Osimhen enjoyed an outstanding campaign for Galatasaray last season, playing a pivotal role in the club’s successful title defence. The prolific striker registered 15 goals and five assists in 22 league appearances, underlining his importance to the Turkish giants.
