Victor Osimhen admitted that Antalyaspor gave Galatasaray a tough challenge in Saturday night’s Turkish Super Lig clash, Prompt News reports.
Despite the difficult contest, Galatasaray secured a 4-2 victory, sealing their fourth straight league title.
Antalyaspor took the lead twice during the encounter before eventually being overpowered by the hosts’ attacking strength.
Osimhen was instrumental in the comeback win, netting two second-half goals to inspire Galatasaray to victory.
The Nigerian striker later expressed his happiness with both the result and the team’s title triumph.
“Antalya made things difficult for us tonight; but we are Galatasaray. We need to overcome these kinds of matches.We go out onto the field to perform well in these kinds of games. We became champions tonight. We are very happy “
Osimhen has so far recorded 15 goals and five assists in 22 league appearances for the Yellow and Reds this season.
