The Presidential Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has thrown jibes at Nasir El-Rufai, saying the former Kaduna State Governor, is internally displaced again.
Onanuga mocked El-Rufai following his expulsion from the from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) on Monday.
Prompt News recalls that the National Working Committee (NWC) of SDP, also imposed a 30-year ban on him.
While reacting to the expulsion, Onanuga took to his verified X handle @aonanuga to take a swipe at the former governor, posting “Internally displaced again”.
Recall that the SDP National Publicity Secretary, Araba Aiyenigba, had said in a statement thus:
“El-Rufai never registered at his ward as required by the party’s constitution, yet he publicly declared on social media that he had joined the party. He also took photographs with suspended party leaders to create the impression that he was a member.
“Having established that he openly declared for the ADC and continued to act against the principles of the SDP, the party had no option but to disassociate itself from him.
“El-Rufai’s activities are contrary to all existing and updated records of the SDP in Kaduna State. His misleading membership status has been used to trade on the party’s name in various forums.”
Prompt News reports that El-Rufai has joined coalition alongside the likes of Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rotimi Amaechi, David Mark, and Rauf Aregbesola among others.
