AS Roma star Shukurat Oladipo has been named the Best Defender in the Serie A Femminile for the 2025/26 season, Prompt News Online reports.
Oladipo played a pivotal role in Roma’s title-winning campaign, making 18 league appearances as the Giallorossi secured their third league crown.
Roma conceded just nine goals in the matches the Nigerian defender featured in and remained unbeaten throughout her appearances, keeping eight clean sheets in 18 games.
The 21-year-old was also named in the Serie A Femminile Team of the Season alongside three of her Roma teammates.
Como Women goalkeeper Astrid Gilardi was selected in goal, while Oladipo lined up in defence with Juventus Women’s Estela Carbonell, Inter Milan Women’s Ivana Andrés, and Parma Women’s Caterina Ambrosi.
Roma trio Manuela Giugliano, Giulia Dragoni, and Giada Greggi were named in midfield, while the attacking line features Inter Milan Women’s Tessa Wullaert, Lazio Women’s Martina Piemonte, and Napoli Femminile forward Cecilie Fløe.
