Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has criticised her colleague, Eniola Badmus, over comments and reactions she allegedly made during a recent interview.
Bakare expressed her displeasure in a social media post accompanying a video from Badmus’ interview with content creator Isbae U, accusing the actress of repeatedly damaging her reputation in public.
She claimed she had cautioned Badmus on several occasions to stop making statements she considered defamatory but alleged that her colleague had continued with the behaviour.
Prompt News reports Bakare also described Badmus as ungrateful, claiming she had played a significant role in helping her advance in life. She added that she would not allow what she described as another person’s insecurity to distract her from her personal journey.
In her post, Bakare wrote: “Nuisance ni lady yi sha! Must you always damage my character publicly? I have warned you several times to stop, but you have decided to bring me down at all costs. You will surely hear from me.
“See your facial expressions at the mention of your biggest benefactor’s name?
“The lady who helped you grow. Honestly, you are indeed an ingrate, and I won’t let this slide.
“I will never let someone else’s insecurity distract me.
“I know my journey, I know my worth, and I know how much it has taken me to get here”.
