Nigerian music star Adedamola Adefolahan, widely recognized as Fireboy DML, has shared personal details about his romantic experiences, describing his dating life as nothing short of “chaotic.”
During a recent chat on the Reprezent podcast, the Afrobeats artist revealed that his song “Ashawo” was inspired by the complex and often messy nature of dating in Lagos.
“In my song ‘Ashawo,’ I was trying to paint a picture of what the dating scene is like in Lagos where I live. It’s a mess,” he explained.

Opening up further, the Peru hitmaker admitted that although his love life can be disordered, he somehow manages to find balance amid the chaos. “It is chaotic. But I thrive with girls. When I’m under pressure, I usually find balance in girls,” he added.
Prompt News reports Fireboy, who once confessed that he was hoping to experience heartbreak to produce more heartfelt music, has not publicly disclosed any ongoing romantic relationship.
