Manchester City thrashed Chelsea 3-0 at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday as their pursuit of the Premier League title gained momentum.
Arsenal’s defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday had opened the door for Pep Guardiola’s side to take charge of their own destiny.
After a goalless first half, City upped the ante after the break, and scored three goals within 17 minutes.
Nico O’Reilly opened scoring for the visitors five minutes after the break.
England international Marc Guéhi slotted in his first league goal for the Citizens six minutes later.
Jérémy Doku pounced on an awful error by Moisés Caicedo to complete Chelsea’s humiliation in the 68th minute.
