Manchester City started the new season on a winning note, thrashing Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 at the Molineux on Saturday, Prompt News reports.
Erling Haaland bagged a brace with debutants
Tijjani Reijnders, and Rayan Cherki scoring the other goals.
Reijnders teed up Haaland for the opening goal in the 34th minute.
The Dutchman doubled the visitors lead three minutes later with a brilliant finish.The former AC Milan star also provided the assist for Haaland’s second goals of the game one minute after the hour mark.
Cheri volleyed in the fourth from the edge of the box nine minutes from time.
Manchester City will host Tottenham Hotspur in their next league game.
Tottenham Hotspur defeated Burnley 3-0 earlier on Saturday.
